About
Hi, I'm Truong. Thanks for dropping by my blog, where I share thoughts on technology, book notes, and personal opinions.
I was born in 1998 - the year Titanic won 11 Oscars including Best Picture. It was also the year Google was founded, starting its journey to becoming one of the most powerful companies in the world. And me? I started my journey in this world too.
When I was 12, my parents bought a computer for me and my older brother to support our learning. As you might guess, we played games a lot (still spent some time learning, so my parents didn't sell the computer). But that marked the beginning of my journey with computers.
Before that, my life was pretty typical for a child of my generation: I spent my time playing with neighborhood kids, learning at a decent pace, sleeping at 9, and waking up at 6 most days.
My biggest fantasies at that time:
- Reading Itto comic books
- Playing Contra, Rocket Man (via TV video games)
- Watching Journey to the West (Tây Du Ký)
- Earning compliments from teachers
It's been a long journey since then. Today, I work remotely as a full-time Software Engineer.
This blog would be a part from my journey to understand the things around me - including myself - a bit better.
One recent thing I'm proud of:
- Switching from white coffee to cold brew to reduce sugar intake
